At Dunseith Community Nursing Home, volunteers are an essential part of our community. Whether you're helping a new staff member adjust to their role or spending time with a resident who could use a friendly face, your time and presence make a lasting difference.
We welcome volunteers of all ages and availability—whether you can give 30 minutes a week or several hours. Every moment matters.
• Visiting with residents or reading aloud
• Assisting residents on walks or to and from activities
• Answering phones or assisting in the business office
• Sanitizing surfaces and passing linens, snacks, or water
• Helping with games, puzzles, cards, bingo, or group crafts
• Bussing tables or helping in the dining area
• Providing musical entertainment or storytelling
• Offering basic computer help
• Serving coffee or helping at special events
